Empuries
ROUTE 1: Sea route
We're going to l'Escala (N-II road during 11 km. direction Figueres/France. Near Báscara we'll take road GI-623 direction L'Escala). In this town we'll enjoy the Catalan cooking and the quality of the Costa Brava beaches.
A very few kilometres from here we'll visit the town of Empuries, where the beds of the greek colony Emporion have been preserved (it means "market" in greek and date from year 600 a.c.) and also the rests of the roman city Emporiae.
The enclosure, of 40 hectares, is the most visited archaelogical bed in Catalunya.
Besalu
ROUTE 2: Volcano route
In this route we are going to the medieval village of Besalu (through road C-66), romanesque town that combines elements of earldom tradition with details from the Jewish community that once lived there. The bridge is worthy of interest. Next we are going to Castellfollit de la Roca (through road N-260), a village constructed on rocky cliffs. The next stop is Olot and Fageda d'en Jordà, in Santa Pau (following road N-260), were we'll find the well known Parque Natural Zona Volcánica de la Garrotxa, the biggest volcano chain of Europe.
Camprodon
ROUTE 3: Mountain route
This route has two main places of interest; the first one is Camprodon (road C-66 until Besalu, and in this town we'll take road N-260). We'll visit small towns such as Llanars, Molló o Setcases, with interesting roman art details. The next stop we'll be valle de Ribes (road C-26 until Ripoll, and here we'll take road N-152), visiting villages such as Sant Joan de les Abadesses and Ripoll, also important romanesque relics. In Ribes de Freser we can take the famous "Tren Cremallera", which we'll take us to the valley and sanctuary of Nuria, a high mountain landscape characteristic from the Pyrenees.
Girona
ROUTE 4: Girona
Visit of the city of Girona, capital of the province, and whose cathedral is worth visiting, centenary and with a unique nave; the jewish quarter, one of the most important jewish communities in Spain; and the city walls, which divides the city. Do not forget the modern part of Girona, a very important complex with an important offer of gastronimic, cultural, artistic, recreational and commercial activities.
Portlligat
ROUTE5: Route“Triángulo Daliniano”

Visit of the 3 places where Dali lived and developed his work. The first one lies in Figueres, where Dali built the Theatre Museum Dali, known all over the world. The second place concerns Port Lligat in Cadaquès, where Dali spent most of his artistic life, and where we can visit the astonishing house that he built. Last but not least, the visit of Pubol is interesting as it corresponds to a castle that Dali offered to his wife Gala.
